National Survivor Strategy
In 2005, the Scottish Government launched the National Strategy for Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse. The work of the Scottish Parliament's Cross Party Group for Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse and many other individuals and organisations were instrumental in developing the strategy.
The strategy's aims, among others:

Raise and improve knowledge and awareness of childhood sexual abuse

Ensure joined-up working in mainstream services

Improve the lives of survivors

Develop training and skills for frontline workers
