Our live chat service is only available at certain times and when an advisor is available. During these times the live chat option will show in the bottom right of your screen.
There is information below about further support if no advisors are available.
Who can use the Stop It Now! live chat?
Anyone with concerns about child sexual abuse and its prevention can use the Stop It Now! live chat. If you’re worried about your own thoughts, feelings or behaviour, or about another adult or young person, we can help, and we won’t judge.
Our experienced advisors speak to thousands of people every year, giving advice, support and guidance, helping them take action to protect children and young people from sexual abuse and exploitation.
Is the live chat confidential?
The live chat is confidential and you don’t have to give us your full name or any other details that will identify you. But if you do give us such information and a child has been abused, a crime has been committed or there is a risk of harm to anyone including children or yourself, then we would have to pass that information on.
In order to remain anonymous, we ask you only to provide a first name or nickname and your age.
When is the live chat open?
Mondays: 9am – 12pm
Wednesdays: 1pm – 4pm and 6pm – 9pm
Fridays: 9am – 12pm
We’re closed on bank holidays.
