Easy Read Resources on online grooming and sexual images of children

In partnership with Fife’s Adult Support and Protection Committee, we have developed the first resources of their kind to help people who have learning disabilities or autism to navigate the internet more safely.

People with learning disabilities or autism can be at greater risk of being groomed online or viewing sexualised images of under 18s online. Find out more about the easy read resources.

Child sexual abuse is preventable not inevitable

We are a child protection charity that believes that the key to preventing sexual abuse is awareness among parents and community members. We work to build public confidence in recognising and responding to concerns about the sexual abuse and exploitation of children.

We also provide support services to individuals and their families with problematic sexual thoughts and those who may be at risk of sexual offending. This includes those who are under investigation for internet offences. We believe that this is a critical part of preventing child sexual abuse. We also support friends and family members of individuals who are at risk of sexual offending.

Our goal is to work towards a Scotland where child sexual abuse is eradicated.
