There are many ways you can get involved and do your bit to help prevent child sexual abuse.
We work hard to prevent child sexual abuse by working with all adults across the country. We rely on the generosity of the public’s donations to make sure as many parents as possible receive the advice and information they need to help protect children. Find out more about how your donation will help support our work and donate here.
Join a consultation group
As part of our Welsh government-funded project, we have formed four professional consultation groups and four parent consultation groups across Wales. If you are interested in joining a consultation group to influence our work, please contact us.
Connect with us as a partner organisation
If you are keen to support our work, please consider joining us as a partner organisation. For our ongoing prevention work to succeed and reach more people, we need support from partner organisations to become engaged in meaningful partnership work, distributing prevention information to their communities through communications activities. We can provide you with a partner pack to help you support us.
Train the trainer
If you have joined us for one or more of our public education sessions, please consider attending one of our ‘Train the Trainer’ sessions. You will be equipped with sufficient information and knowledge to deliver your own sessions professionally to parents and carers in your area. Click contact us to express your interest.
Host a session
Are you part of an organisation that supports families, parents and carers and want to host one of our public education sessions? The sessions are provided free of charge, all you need to do is provide a venue and invite participants. You can download a flyer for all of our sessions here. During Covid-19 sessions can be delivered over Zoom. Please contact us for more information.
We have a range of volunteering roles so we hope you will find something suitable for you. The variety of roles will also enable you to develop from one role to another as you build your experience with us. Please contact us for more information.
To support our campaign, if you have your own website you can add the link below to your site, or if you use Facebook or Twitter, you can include the link in your posts and interact with our posts. We also encourage you to talk to your contacts about your ideas for prevention and what you are doing to protect children from harm – helping to motivate others to do the same.
