Training for professionals

We provide child sexual abuse and exploitation training to professionals and frontline staff across Wales. This includes people who work with children, young people and families. For instance, social workers, teachers, health professionals, local authority staff, youth workers, faith organisations and voluntary sector organisations.

Train the trainer

We are offering professionals in Wales the chance to participate in our Train the trainer sessions. We are running two events in November 2021.

Multi-agency webinars

We are offering two types of webinars to help people prevent child sexual abuse, including using the Stop It Now! helpline, and understanding the problematic behaviour that young people can display. Both webinars are funded by the Welsh government and the first ones were in February and March 2021.

Services and training for child protection professionals

Also, as part of The Lucy Faithfull Foundation, we provide a range of services for organisations, professionals and the public. For instance, risk assessments and intervention, training, consultancy, and public education.

Conwy Borough County families first project

Conwy Borough County Families First has funded us to provide protective sessions to families and professionals. We have already developed strong local links in Conwy to help support Conwy families, but we are keen to hear from others who may be interested.

Organisations in Conwy can book a session by downloading our English Conwy project flyer (pdf) or Welsh Conwy project flyer (pdf).
